Nginx + PHP-FPM «Файл не найден» при изменении корневого каталога в Centos 8

Я новичок в nginx и хочу изменить путь к корневому каталогу.

Файл: /etc/nginx/conf.d/default.conf

server {
    listen       80 default_server;
    listen       [::]:80 default_server;
    server_name  _;
    root         /usr/share/nginx/html;

    include /etc/nginx/default.d/*.conf;
}

Отлично работает!

Но если я изменю корневой каталог на:

    root         /home;

, я получаю сообщение об ошибке «Файл не найден». в браузере.
